3 day Flower Tour to Namaqualand Route we follow (Subject to change. Availability of flowers will dictate at the time) Our planned route runs through 3 different known flower regions: Cape Floral Kingdom, in particular the Cape West Coast Area around Clanwilliam Area around Nieuwoudtville Click here to view or print map (.PDF file) Suggested ittenerary Day 1: We will collect you from your Cape Town overnight stay or from the Cape Town International Airport if you arrive on an early flight. Latest departure time from Cape Town is 10h00 The route leads to Darling and the Postberg wildflower reserve before we continue to Clanwilliam and our 'home from home' at the Waenhuis. Day 2: After an early breakfast, we depart for Nieuwoudtville via the Vanrhyns Pass. We will find the best flowers and visit the Nieuwoudtville waterfall. Our return to the Waenhuis is via the spectacular Botterkloofpass. Day 3: After a relaxed breakfast we will pack for home, but will explore more flower sites on the way. Among others we will visit the Ramskop Wildflower reserve and will return via Lambertsbay where we will also visit Bird Island. We will arive back in Cape Town by late afternoon.
