HOW TO GET THERE (GPS: 29 16S 17 44E) On the N7 some 45km north of Springbok. HISTORY Established as a mission station of the London Missionary Society and named Kookfontein. Later taken over by the Rhenish Mission. ORIGINS OF THE NAME Named after Rev Dr Steinkopf who innitiated transfer of mission station to Rhenish Mission in 1842.
